Branding
Brand & visual identity
I developed the visual identity for the "M.Menu" brand, including the logo design, color palette, and visual style guide. The focus was on conveying refinement and sophistication in all elements of the brand.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Cooking
Client :
M. Menu
Project Duration :
5 weeks

Visual indentity
M.Menu, as an innovative technology company, faced the challenge of establishing a cohesive and memorable brand identity that would differentiate it in a highly competitive sector.
The existing brand lacked a unified visual language and failed to effectively communicate the company's core values: refinement and sophistication. This inconsistency hindered the building of trust with customers and limited the brand's impact across digital and print platforms.

Solution
The project focused on developing a comprehensive visual identity system for M.Menu. This included creating a modern and versatile logo that visually represented both refinement and sophistication. A distinctive color palette was developed to evoke a sense of good taste while maintaining an Asian tone reminiscent of the restaurant's dishes. I used Asian elements that allude to Japan and the Japanese flag.
The visual style guide detailed the use of typography, iconography, images, and layout principles to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. Each element was carefully chosen to reinforce the brand positioning with an emphasis on Japanese style.

Challenge :
One of the main challenges was finding the right balance between an Asian look and a sense of Western refinement and sophistication. The identity needed to appeal to both Asians and Westerners. Ensuring that the visual elements worked harmoniously across a wide range of applications—from digital interfaces to printed materials—required extensive testing and refinement.
Summary :
The "M.Menu" project successfully established a strong and cohesive brand presence that communicates good taste and Eastern sophistication with accessible Western language. Through a modern logo, a carefully selected color palette, and a detailed visual style guide, the new identity allows M.Menu to stand out in the gastronomic sector.
This project demonstrates the transformative power of strategic branding in building trust, recognition, and long-term value for a visionary company that blends tradition and modernity.
